C. Carey Cloud created the Wiggle Alligator game for Cracker Jack during the early 1940's. There are four different animals in the "Wiggle" series of prizes. The Wiggle Alligator, shown here, as well as a Wiggle Snake, a Wiggle Lobster, and a Wiggle Lady Bug.

By grasping the tail of the alligator, and rubbing it between two fingers, the alligator thrashes back and forth. Carey Cloud based these toys off one of his earlier patents (Patent 2148290).

The Wiggle Alligator game is printed on tri-fold card stock with green and red ink. It measures 8"x1¾" or 20.5cm x 4cm, and fold into thirds, to easily fit in a Cracker Jack box.
