C. Carey Cloud created four different Crazy Cartoon Puzzles and Riddle Rhyme Puzzles for Cracker Jack. The Crazy Cartoon Puzzles consist of whimsical pictures, where the viewer tries to find as many silly mistakes as possible. Some mistakes are more obvious than others. The Riddle Rhyme Puzzles, are simple riddles set to a rhyme. Each riddle has two ways of solving it, either by being clever enough to guess the answer, or by using a simple cipher to decode the answer.

5 Riddle Rhyme Puzzles
The Numbers below stand for letters of the alphabet. "A" is "1", "B" is "2" and so on.
Read each verse if you can't answer the riddle, work puzzle for the answer.

Riddle 1 - Feed it on sticks and old black stones, it grows and blushes red, but what do you think, if you give it a drink, you'll find it smoking in bed!
